Washington, July 28 (ANI): US wrestler Elena Pirozhkova didn't just want a handshake or hug from Michelle Obama on Friday - she wanted to pick her up.
Pirozhkova lifting up the First Lady during her visit to the US Olympic team's training center in London.
The moment was captured by Pirozhkova's teammate Clarissa Chun who posted a photo on Twitter afterward.
"I hugged her, and then I asked her if I could pick her up. I think she was nervous," the Politico quoted her as saying in a statement from USA Wrestling via USA Today.
"I went slow. I just picked her up. I wanted to ask her permission. There was security all around. And she gave it.
"I will only meet her once. I wanted to do something different," she said. (ANI)
