Sonia meets PM to discuss NCP crisis

New Delhi, July 24 (ANI): Congress president and chief of the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday met Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh to discuss the rift between the two coalition partners.
Gandhi's meeting with Dr. Singh comes hours after the NCP announced that it would decide the course of its alliance with the Congress on Thursday.
The Maharashtra unit of the NCP has reportedly conveyed its central leadership that if the Centre walks out, the state coalition would be in disarray. (ANI)
