Rajouri, July 22 (ANI): A Pakistan national has been arrested near the Line of Control (LoC) recently.
Identified as Asgar Ali, the Pakistani national was taken into custody while allegedly trying to sneak into Indian territory.
Interacting with mediapersons, police sub-inspector Jatinder Singh said, "His name is Asgar Ali, he has come from Pakistan and one of the battalions caught him and handed him over to us today."
Meanwhile, Ali said he had never seen Kashmir and had accidentally crossed the border.
"I was a labourer in Kotli, I came here for the first time to see Kashmir. The military caught me," he said.
There has been a spurt in the cases of infiltration recently.
Earlier in July, a Pakistan soldier was arrested and later sent back to Islamabad, when he crossed the border in search of his lady love. (ANI)
