New York, July 21 (ANI): MC Hammer has revealed that Whitney Houston's father John wanted her to marry the rapper.
The hip hop star said that her dad had taken him aside at the 1991 Super Bowl, where the singer was performing, to say, "You should really consider marrying Whitney."
And he replied back: "I'd love to, but I'm married! I love my wife . . . I always laugh about that," the New York Post quoted him as saying in the TV show 'In the Mixx.'
"I loved Whitney, and miss her dearly," he added. (ANI)
