London, July 15 (ANI): Olympic legend Michael Johnson is worried over star sprinter Usain Bolt's false start, and believes that it might get him disqualified again.
A year after the World Athletics Championships were completely overshadowed by Bolt's DQ, Johnson is worried that it might happen again.
"I am absolutely concerned that we could lose a Bolt," said the four-time Olympic gold medallist. What we saw in Daegu was a disaster for the sport," the Daily Mirror quoted Johnson, as saying.
"Everyone wanted to see Bolt in the 100m and we didn't get to see him. That was terrible for track and field, really terrible," he added.
In the incident, Bolt had reacted, 0.104 seconds before the gun was fired, while a second gun crack confirmed his blunder and perhaps the most anti-climactic moment in the sport's history.
Sports Illustrated had described it as "THE moment, the only moment that truly matters beyond the four walls of a flagging sport". (ANI)
