New Delhi, July 14 (IANS) Three civic corporation sweepers of south Delhi were arrested for molesting a married woman, police said Saturday.
The accused, identified as Raghuveer, Manoj and Ashok - in their early twenties - were arrested from south Delhi's Vasant Kunj area for molesting a woman who was heading towards her home with her husband Friday night.
"The victim's husband reported the incident to Vasant Kunj police station and the accused were arrested within hours of the incident," said a police official.
The official said that the accused were drunk when they were arrested.
"They attempted to sexually assault the victim but she managed to flee from the spot with her husband," said the official.
