London, July 14 (ANI): Katie Holmes is said to have enrolled her daughter Suri into an all-girls Catholic school in New York, which was once attended by Lady Gaga.
The six-year-old girl, who has been at the centre of an alleged custody dispute between the actress and estranged hubby Tom Cruise, is expected to begin classes at Manhattan's Convent of the Sacred Heart School this autumn, the Daily Mail reported.
The Catholic girls academy would be a far departure from the Scientology school Cruise is said to have wanted Suri to attend.
Holmes and Cruise, who married in Italy in 2006, settled their divorce proceedings last week after the actress filed the paperwork at the end of June.
She is thought to have won primary custody of Suri, who will remain with her in New York where they currently reside.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the actress has prepared for their new future by quietly enrolling Suri into first grade at the Upper East Side school.
The classes, scheduled to begin on September 6, would mark Suri's first in an open classroom format. She was previously home-schooled.
The curriculum at Sacred Heart is thought to be extremely strict, requiring students to attend Mass every Thursday.
Tuition reportedly costs 38,000 dollars a year.
Lady Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is among a long list of A-list alumnae at the school, which calls itself on its website "the oldest independent school for girls in New York City."
Caroline Kennedy, actress Jordana Brewster, Paris and Nick Hilton have also graduated from Sacred Heart. (ANI)
