Mumbai, July 4 (ANI): The suspicious object that triggered a massive bomb scare near the Infinity Mall in Andheri here was not a bomb, sources have confirmed.
Television reports suggest that the bomb like object could have been used in shooting of a film in the area.
Earlier, access to Mumbai's Infinity Mall and its immediate surroundings was curtailed on Wednesday afternoon over unconfirmed reports of a explosive being found in its vicinity.
Television reports said that a bomb squad has reached the site located in the Andheri area of suburban Mumbai to examine the suspicious object.
Standard Operating Procedures have been activated in the wake of the alleged bomb scare. Futher details from Mumbai Police are awaited. (ANI)
