Handwara (Jammu and Kashmir), July 4 (ANI): There were protests here following the shooting and injuring of Bilal Ahmad Magra, a local youth.
The incident occurred on Tuesday when Magra, returning home in a vehicle, was allegedly shot at by a soldier.
The protesters raised anti-India slogans and alleged that soldiers, who were patrolling Zachaldara area in Handwara, fired at Magra while he was returning home.
The vehicle bore bullet marks and bloodstains.
"Army was stationed on the way. They fired at him. He was not aware where the army was stationed. A vehicle was following him," a protestor, Majeed, said. (ANI)
