Washington, July 3 (ANI): Katie Holmes has stepped out for the first time without her wedding ring since announcing her divorce from Tom Cruise.
The former 'Dawson's Creek' actress was snapped without the bling as she was leaving a "Project Runway" taping in New York City, TMZ.com reported.
The 33-year-old had worn the ring as recently as last week, only days before she filed legal papers for their separation on Thursday
Holmes believes that her marriage to Cruise had become "irretrievably broken" at least 6 months ago-so the fact that she was still wearing her wedding ring last week is another sign that she had intentionally blindsided Cruise with divorce papers. (ANI)
