London, July 1 (ANI): England fast bowler Steven Finn is winning his speed-gun battle with the Australian pair of Brett Lee and Pat Cummins in the ongoing one-day series between the two sides.

According to The Sun, the six feet eight inch Finn was the quickest bowler on view in England's 15-run victory over Australia in the first ODI at Lord's on Friday.

Finn will want to consolidate his "King of Pace" status as England go for glory again at The Oval today.

According to one speed gun, Finn's fastest ball of the match was 90.6 mph, while Cummins clocked 90.4 mph and Lee's best was 89.3 mph.

Other equipment had Finn even faster and he also had the highest average.

Although the pace ace attempts to play down the stats, he said: "I'm not really fussed about speed, but it's nice to turn around and see 90 mph up on the screen.

"If I can get quicker, then great. It's nice my pace has developed over the last 12 to 18 months. It's come on leaps and bounds but it's not something that occupies my mind," Finn said. (ANI)
