New York, June 30 (ANI): A 7,500 square-foot glass box on top of a 1928 building in Tribeca, one of New York City's top neighbourhoods, is being touted as one of the best apartments the city has on offer.
It boasts of concrete floors and a 750,000 dollars glass staircase.
The 4,500 square-foot wrap-around terrace has a gourmet kitchen, hot tub, and a sun deck staring at One World Trade.
Pegged at 48 million dollars, the luxurious house only has four bedrooms.
The living room at 145 Hudson St has been designed by New York-based architect James Carpenter, who designed 7 World Trade Center.
At the penthouse at Skylofts at 145 Hudson Street shades are motor-powered. Bathroom floors are heated. The 42-by-21-foot living room has 22-foot ceilings.

"Every square centimeter of this apartment was well-considered, well-crafted and perfectly constructed," the New York Daily News quoted Prudential Douglas Elliman exclusive broker Henry Hershkowitz, who shares the listing with partner Heather McDonough, as saying.
