PM on a two-day visit to Puducherry

Puducherry, June 29 (ANI): Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will undertake a two-day visit of Puducherry from this evening.
Singh will inaugurate the UNESCO Madanjeet Singh Institute for South Asian Regional Co-operation for peace at the Pondicherry University.
He will also deliver the convocation address at Jawaharlal Nehru Institute of Post Graduate Medical Education and Research on June 30, and inaugurate a women and children hospital with 426 beds, academic block and the newly built hostel complex built at a cost of Rs.342 crore.
Security has been tightened across Puducherry in anticipation of Dr. Singh's visit. (ANI)
