Kuala Lumpur, June 25 (ANI): The International Cricket Council's (ICC) chief executives have no objection to Pakistan hosting a six-match Twenty20 series against Australia in the United Arab Emirates in August.
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) had asked the ICC for flexibility in rescheduling its three-match ODI and three T20s series against Australia due to extreme daytime heat in the UAE, reports The Dawn.
The ICC said in a statement that the Chief Executive Committee "raised no objections to the principle of a six-match T20 series."
The recommendation will now be forwarded to the ICC Board meeting scheduled to be held in Kuala Lumpur on Tuesday and Wednesday.
Pakistan has been organising its home matches mainly in the UAE after international teams stopped travelling to the country following a terrorist attack on the Sri Lankan team bus in 2009. (ANI)
