'Germany are not unbeatable': Denmark's Agger tells England

London, Thu, 21 Jun 2012 ANI

London, June 21 (ANI): Denmark captain Daniel Agger has said that England doesn't need to fear Germany, if they face them in the Euro semi-finals.

The Liverpool defender, who was in the Denmark side that lost 2-1 to the Germans in the Group of Death last Sunday, believes that Joachim Low's team are not unbeatable, despite going for a 14th straight competitive win against Greece in tomorrow's quarter-final.

"Germany were the best team in our group when they had the ball, but we felt we had a chance against their defence. Their front three don't stay in one position. They're constantly changing sides and running into new positions," The Sun quoted the 27-yr-old, as saying.

"But I play against strikers of that quality every week in the Premier League and so do the England players," Agger added. (ANI)
