New York, June 20 (ANI): Lindsay Lohan, who landed in trouble recently for a car accident, was banned from driving while filming "Liz and Dick" by the insurance company, which covered the movie.
The "Mean Girls" actress crashed a rented Porsche while driving on the Pacific Coast Highway in Los Angeles earlier this month, but escaped unhurt, along with her assistant.
According to TMZ, the insurance company covering the filming of the Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton biopic was initially reluctant to issue a policy and imposed several conditions, which included banning Lohan from roads, the New York post reported.
Sources revealed that even though movie producers knew the 25-year-old was violating the policy by driving, no one stopped her.
However, the insurance company has not still cancelled the policy, but producers for the Lifetime channel made it clear that she must not drive for the duration of filming.
Moreover, Lifetime would stand to lose a lot of money if Lohan was unable to finish filming. (ANI)
