Guwahati, June 13 (ANI): A 16-coach science exhibition train is currently touring north-eastern states to disseminate information on various scientific explanations and developments in the country, particularly to school students.
The Science Express - Biodiversity Special is a collaborative initiative of Department of Science and Technology and Ministry of Environment and Forests.
The exhibition is mounted on a specially designed air-conditioned train and is focusing on biodiversity and climate change.
The train is at the Rangiya Junction in Assam for public viewing.
It will also tour Mariani, Dibrugarh, Dimapur, Kamakhya and Siliguri till the 29th of this month.
According to sources, the train is proposed to travel to 52 stations across the country.
The Science Express - Biodiversity Special exhibition was inaugurated at the Delhi Safdarjung station on June 5. (ANI)
