Footie star Joey Barton hits out at 'X factor'

London, June 13 (ANI): English footballer Joey Barton has reportedly slammed 'X Factor' for ridiculing the 'mentally deficient' contestants.
"I find myself cringing at the beginning of the show's auditioning," the Daily Star quoted the 29-year-old star as telling 'Big Issue' magazine.
"You get people who are clearly mentally deficient being openly laughed at," he added. (ANI)
