London, May 30 (ANI): Topshop billionaire Sir Philip Green's daughter, Chloe, who is promoting her new range of shoes, was spotted hugging and flirting with Tottenham Hotspur ace Jermain Defoe in a busy street in London.
Until earlier this month, the 29-year-old striker was in a relationship with 'X Factor' winner Alexandra Burke. Just two weeks ago, Burke supported Green at the launch of her CJG range of shoes, which are sold in her father's stores.
Despite this, Green, 20, who used to appear in reality show 'Made in Chelsea', spent around an hour with the footie star in West London on Monday, chatting to him in her car and on the street.t one point, she energetically grabbed a lamp post and pretended to pole dance for Defoe, as bemused members of the public walked by.
"They were on one of the busiest roads in London, on one of the hottest afternoons of the year during rush hour. It was obvious they wanted to get noticed," the Daily Mail quoted one observer as saying.
Burke, 23, dumped Defoe this month after he allegedly cheated on her with two other women.
An observer said Defoe, whose previous girlfriends include the model Danielle Lloyd and Big Brother star Imogen Thomas, parked his grey Range Rover near the Royal Marsden Hospital.
Green, who had spent the weekend in Monaco to watch the Grand Prix, arrived minutes later in her black Range Rover and greeted the footballer with a hug.
"They appeared to be really intimate as they hugged and flirted with each other. A few people said 'Hello Jermain' as they passed and it didn't seem to bother either of them," the observer added.
Sir Philip denied his daughter's link up to the footie star saying, "I have spoken to my daughter and she has told me they are not in a relationship, they have only met once before. He had been coming out of the Royal Marsden Hospital after visiting a relative and they bumped into each other outside."
A spokesman Defoe also said that the two are not dating.
"I can say they are 110 per cent not together, they are just friends. Jermain was visiting a very close relative and she just happened to be there," he said. (ANI)
