Gangtok (Sikkim), May 27 (ANI): Athletes who have qualified for the London Olympics are sparing no effort to win medals.
A visit to Sikkim's Paljor Stadium where the archery team is practicing reflects the earnestness with which preparations are being undertaken to perform.

The 28-year-old hails from Sikkim and has represented India at the Athens Olympics.
He is currently practicing at the three week long Olympic training camp in Sikkim.
Rai said: "I am still looking for a gold medal. Sometimes we win gold, silver or bronze, but this time all of us are eager to make a mark at the London Olympics. Indian archery has won medals but not at the Olympics, so we want a medal as it can change the course of archery in the country."
The team also includes Deepika Kumari, L Bombyala Devi, Chekrovolu Swuro and Jayanta Talukdar - all of them have qualified for the Olympics.

People across the country are looking forward to medals from all these archers. everal sportspersons from the Northeast like Marykom, Jayanata Talukdar, Shiva Thapa will be representing the country and this clearly showcases the pool of talent available in the region. (ANI)
