London, May 26 (ANI): Michael Carrick and his wife Lisa were looking a bit pink as they spent the day on the beach in Barbados with their two children.
After ruling himself out of the Euro 2012 tournament, the Manchester United star is looking forward to a longer summer break.
But in his eagerness to get a tan, it looks like that the 30-year-old midfielder has been neglecting the suncream.
Pilates instructor Lisa, showed off her tad sunburnt figure in a blue bikini, while her famous husband wore an eye-catching pair of trunks.
In between cooling off in the Caribbean Sea, the pair played on the beach with their son Jacey, two, and daughter Louise, four, the Daily Mail reported.
Carrick showed his relationship with wife Lisa is as strong as ever - who he's dated since high school - as the couple lavished affection on each other.
The couple have been together over 15 years after they started dating at Burnside Community High School in Wallsend.
The childhood sweethearts tied the knot in Leicestershire in June 2007, with their daughter Louise arriving exactly nine months later. (ANI)
