Paris, May 25 (Xinhua-ANI): French Open winner Li Na on Friday said she was focusing on the preparation for the first round's games, reiterating her willingness to keep a normal life after winning the French title last season.
As the first Chinese to win a tennis grand slam title, Li Na said she witnessed a tough experience after her victory in the French Open and she could not "do the same as before."
"I really want to remain the same. But, it's tough for me because after I won last year my life changed. So I had to change some things," Li Na said on Roland Garros website.
"I think because I was the first Chinese player win a Grand Slam, so many people thought she's not normal," she added.
Li became the favorite sport figure in China and she has been officially honored by the Chinese government for her unprecedented win of Grand Slam singles title.
The 30-year-old tennis player will meet Romanian Sorana Cirstea in the first game. (Xinhua-ANI)
