London, May 24 (ANI): Wimbledon has installed new technology, which will allow them to create a brand new grass-court between the Championship finals and the Olympics.

The system will be used to create prime surfaces for the Games, which start on July 28, despite the wear and tear from the Grand Slam event, which ends on July 8.

"We have used pre-germinated seeds grown from nothing. We can lay down a new court in three weeks that will look fresh and new," Express.co.uk quoted All England Club chairman Philip Brook, as saying. (ANI)
