London, May 19(ANI): Blackburn Rovers manager Steve Kean is likely to get axed soon after spending two days with owner Venkys at their chicken firm's headquarters in Pune, India.

According to the Sun, Venkys' chairwoman Anuradha Desai is disinclined to give him the sack, and would prefer to offer him another job within the club.

Australian cricketer Brett Lee, who is sponsored by Venkys, had earlier tweeted that Kean has been sacked, but deleted his tweet later on.

Kean believes relegated Blackburn can bounce back to the top flight, but more talks on his future are expected to take place on Saturday. (ANI)
