London, May 13 (ANI): Ched Evans, the jailed soccer rapist, moaned from his cell on Saturday that he has "no faith in the justice system".
The Sheffield United striker wrote in a letter to his mum that he has been left with "nothing".
The 23-year-old soccer player was jailed for five years in April for raping a teenager in a hotel near Rhyl, North Wales, as a pal tried to film it on his mobile.
The player, who transferred from Manchester City in July 2009, is now in prison in Liverpool.
"People are being nice but I don't know whether they are being genuine, but I have nothing anyway," the Sun quoted him as writing
"I have no faith in the justice system, I miss you lot like mad and cannot wait to see you," he wrote.
The letter was posted on a Facebook page set up by friends and family calling for his retrial.
17 people have been arrested in connection with the alleged naming of the 19-year-old victim on Twitter. (ANI)
