Mumbai, May 13 (IANS) Kerala will launch the Emerging Kerala branding campaign in Mumbai next week to attract more business and investment to the state, an official said here Sunday.
"The event in India's financial capital is a call to the captains of trade and industry to forge mutually beneficial economic and commercial engagements with the state and help accelerate its economic growth," the official said.
Chief Minister Oommen Chandy, along with Industries and IT Minister P.K. Kunhalikutty and Finance Minister K.M. Mani, will launch the campaign in an interactive session with the business community on May 15.
Among those expected to be present at the event include chairman & managing director of GTN Textiles B.K. Patodia, managing director of Kancor Ingredients Ltd. Sanjaya Mariwala and chairman of Eastern Group Navas Meeran.
The Emerging Kerala campaign is a joint initiative by the state government and industry bodies - Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and NASSCOM.
