Kuala Lumpur, May 12 (ANI): Singer and actress Marsha Milan Londoh has revealed that she gets butterflies in her stomach at the thought of performing an English-Hindi duet with veteran entertainer Datuk DJ Dave.
The 27-year-old starlet is worried about her pronunciation of Hindi lyrics in their rendition of Whitney Houston's 'I Will Always Love You' during a concert next month.
"Although I am becoming familiar with the Hindi words through practice sessions, I am still a little worried that I may mispronounce a word during the final performance," StarOnline quoted her as saying.
The two-hour 'Journey Through Song: Ingin Bersua DJ Dave' is scheduled to be held from June 1 to June 3 at Panggung Sari, Istana Budaya, to celebrate his 40 years in the music industry.
Dave, however, is confident of his choice for the duet, calling her "hugely talented" and "versatile".
"The first time I performed with her was during the Miss Earth 2011 pageant in Sabah," he said.
The concert, in which he will sing about 35 songs spanning from the start of his career in the 1970s to present, is said to be his "final major concert".
Dave has also invited other veteran artistes such as Uji Rashid, Datuk Ahmad Nawab as well as popular singer Dayang Nurfaizah to perform with him.
Journey Through Song will be a pop-mix orchestration backed by a 30-piece-orchestra. (ANI)
