London, May 11 (ANI): Former Chelsea star Claude Makelele has been accused by a British woman for punching her in the face and leaving her traumatised after that.

A former girlfriend of football star Makelele accused him of leaving her "traumatised'" after attacking her in his 1 million-dollar mansion, a court has heard.

Thandi Ojeer, 35, who lived with the French ace for two years, said that she was hit and grabbed around the neck.

She wants 70,000 pounds compensation from Makelele, but he denies her claim of "violence".

The alleged assault took place in 2010 in the footballer's luxury property near Paris, where he now coaches for top side Paris Saint-Germain.

Ojeer, a London-based events organiser, had attended parties with Makelele during Paris fashion week, where the pair had argued.

According to a police report read out at Versailles Correction Court, Ojeer walked into the plush pad to confront him after a gate had been left open. Makelele, who was not in court, claimed she grabbed him by the neck and scratched him.

But Ojeer's lawyer Stanislas Panon said Makelele hit her.

Panon said she needed hospital treatment for serious jaw injuries and was signed off work.

"She is quite traumatised and had a tooth loosened, but she's faced with complete denial (from Makelele)," the Sun quoted the lawyer as saying.

"She was not well known (before the incident) and because she was an events organiser this was detrimental to her (career)," Panon added.

Makelele's lawyer said she had "tried to force her way into his home, and then tried to pass herself off as a victim".

The ex-midfielder told cops that he had split with her and didn't want her at his home. She said she wanted to collect her clothes. (ANI)
