London, May 11 (ANI): Mike Tindall has revealed that he and his wife Zara Phillips are putting plans for children on hold as they concentrate on their sporting ambitions.
The England rugby star said he and Princess Anne's daughter want to follow in the footsteps of her brother Peter and give the Queen a great-grandchild.
But he said that it was difficult because of their busy sporting schedules.
Speaking at the launch of his new charity Rugby For Heroes, he said it was all about timing.
"Obviously we're going to have a family. But it's about timing. Obviously it's the Olympics this year, the Europeans next year, the World Championships the year after for her," the Telegraph quoted him as saying.
"There is definitely a family in the future but it's hard at the moment with work," he added.
Tindall said he and Phillips, an accomplished equestrian, enjoy spending time with her brother's children Savannah, one, and month-old Isla.
"Savannah's a little girl now, she runs around and she's fully grown up," the Daily Mirror reported. (ANI)
