New Delhi, May 10 (IANS) The body of a 33-year-old videographer was found hanging from a ceiling fan at his home in west Delhi's Kirti Nagar Thursday morning, police said, adding he was depressed over his poor financial condition, they said.
"According to his wife's statement, Gaurav was unhappy over his low income from his videography business. This might be the reason behind the extreme step," a police officer said.
Pooja, Gaurav's wife, had gone to meet a relative Wednesday night, the officer said. She returned home in the morning at 9.30 a.m. found her husband hanging from the ceiling fan, the officer added.
Gaurav was taken a hospital but was declared brought dead.
