London, May 10 (ANI): Hotels in Paris, renowned as the world's most romantic city, charge a staggering 20.43 pounds on average for a Club sandwich - more than anywhere else in the world.
The chicken, bacon, egg, lettuce and mayonnaise classic was used as a measure of affordability in 750 hotels across 26 capital cities worldwide.

The research revealed that in Paris prices ranged from a costly 33.44 pounds for a 'Club' in a five star hotel to 13.72 pounds in a three star establishment, the Daily Mail reported.
The study of three, four and five star hotels found those in Geneva served the second dearest Club Sandwich.
You can expect to pay an average price of 20.10 pounds for the sandwich in the Swiss capital - almost twice what you'd pay in London.
The Club Sandwich Index (CSI) intends to give holidaymakers an idea of expense for their getaway, using one of the most common items on any hotel menu around the world as a barometer.
For cheapest Club Sandwiches though, New Delhi in India is the perfect destination - where the sarnie will cost just 5.91 pounds. (ANI)
