'Dedh Ishqiya' shoot to begin September (Movie Snippets)

Mumbai, May 9 (IANS) Actress Madhuri Dixit will begin shooting in September for "Dedh Ishqiya", her first film since her return to India.

 

"'Dedh Ishqiya' to start shooting in September. Excited," tweeted Madhuri.

 

The 44-year-old will play the lead in the Vishal Bhardwaj's movie, a sequel to 2010 film "Ishqiya". She has also signed Anubhav Sinha's "Gulab Gang".

 

Meanwhile, she is also set for her small screen stint as judge of the fifth season of dance reality show "Jhalak Dikhla Jaa". The promos for the show are already on air, and she will share the judges' seat with filmmaker Karan Johar and choreographer Remo D'Souza.

Ranvir yearns for Randeep's body

 

Acclaimed actor Ranvir Shorey is impressed with Randeep Hooda's body of work as well as his chiselled body.

 

"Great to see someone as deserving as @RandeepHooda get the right breaks. Marvellous actor. With a body I should've been born with," Ranvir posted on Twitter.

 

Randeep's recent performance in "Jannat 2" has been highly appreciated by filmmakers and critics alike.

Bipasha enjoys laidback Cyprus

 

A break from Mumbai's hectic life is always welcome for Bollywood stars who live with choc-a-block schedules, and it's no different for Bipasha Basu. She is in Cyprus for work as well as leisure.

 

"It's amazing sometimes to just leave the city and reach a quiet quaint place where people don't know you and don't even speak the same language well, yet are so friendly," tweeted Bipasha.

 

"Laidback life! So different from the hectic life in Mumbai," she added.

 

The 33-year-old has gone to Cyprus to shoot a cameo for Abbas Mustan's "Race 2", and is looking forward to some relaxed time by the beach.
