London, May 7 (ANI): Three-time Olympic gold medalist Usain Bolt made a blistering start to the Olympic year by winning his first 100 metres of 2012 in record 9.82 seconds , which is his fastest ever start to a season.
Bolt declared himself as 'a happy man' after finishing ahead of compatriots Michael Frater (10.00) and Lerone Clarke (10.03).
"I feel better than last year, so I'm definitely happy with myself. I don't think my execution was perfect, but I think for my first race it was good," The Daily Mirror quoted Bolt as, saying.
The Jamaican sprinter felt that 'it was a good start' according to him and claimed of keeping his focus even after two false starts by rival competitors.
With a superb finish at the first race ever in this season, Bolt is expected to create a world record at the London 2012 Olympics. (ANI)
