Kolkata, May 6 (ANI): U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton arrived here on Sunday afternoon on a three-day visit to India.
Clinton is expected to meet West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Monday during which she is likely to discuss the FDI in multi-brand retail and the Teesta River water sharing issue.
During her visit to India, she is likely to focus her attention on cross-border terrorism and the next steps to be taken in the India U.S. strategic partnership with the Indian leadership.
The AFPAK transition, the phased withdrawal of U.S. troops from Afghanistan after 2014, Hafiz Saeed and Haqqani network issues, the U.S. concern on Iran's nuclear programme are other issues likely to be raised during her visit to India. (ANI)
