London, May 6(ANI): Owned by the rich Qatar Investment Authority, French club Paris St. Germain is planning to sign up Manchester City striker Emmanuel Adebayor, who is currently on loan to Tottenham Hotspurs.
PSG is ready to meet the Togolese striker's 170,000 pounds-a-week wages, but only if City accepts their 12 million pound offer for him, which is less than half of what City bought him for.
According to the Daily Star, Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp would like the former Arsenal front man on a permanent basis, but it is thought the White Hart Lane club can't afford the total package.
Italian clubs Juventus and AC Milan have also expressed interest in Adebayor, but the strongest interest is coming from PSG, where former Chelsea boss Carlo Ancelotti is in charge. (ANI)
