Tulisa reveals Cheryl Cole reached out to her following sex tape scandal

London, May 3 (ANI): Tulisa Contostavloshas has revealed that a text message from Cheryl Cole helped her get through her sex tape ordeal.

The 23-year-old singer says the former Girls Aloud star sent her support during her toughest test - a time which saw her depressed and sleeping on the bathroom floor for a week.

"I've been in touch with Cheryl," the Mirror quoted her as saying.

"I actually had a really nice text from her after my 'hoo-hah' a couple of weeks ago, offering her support," she said.

The two singers have been great pals since Contostavloshas replaced Cole on the UK version of the 'X Factor' last year, with the latter sending flowers and good luck messages ahead of her debut.

The N-Dubz singer, whose first solo single 'Young' is odds-on to top the charts at the weekend, also attended Cole's birthday party last year. (ANI)
