Rooney and Balotelli hooker tried committing suicide

London, May 2 (ANI): The hooker, who bedded Wayne Rooney and Mario Balotelli, has revealed that she tried to commit suicide by downing 50 Valium pills.

Jennifer Thompson went into a suicidal spiral as sordid details about her prostitution hit the headlines.

Doctors said she was "just one pill short" of killing herself before being discovered in a slump.

"I hated what I was reading about myself. So last summer I attempted suicide by taking 50 Valium pills," the Daily Star quoted her as telling Now magazine.

"Thankfully, I woke up in hospital with my mum beside me.

"They said if I'd taken one more, I wouldn't be here. Now I make sure I hang around with nice people and won't fall for the wrong man again.

"After the suicide attempt, I had five months of therapy," she added. (ANI)
