Dikshit calls meet to analyse civic polls defeat

New Delhi, April 28 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Saturday analyzed in a meeting with her ministers and legislators the reasons behind the Congress's defeat in the recent Delhi civic polls, a statement said.
Dikshit met all her cabinet ministers and the members of legislative assembly as well those who lost the 2008 assembly polls and asked them not to be "disheartened" and "work with full energy".
"The CM called a high level meeting to review the reasons and factors that led to the defeat of the party in the MCD (Municipal Corporation of Delhi) elections," said the statement.
"She asked the legislators to not to be disheartened and to work with full energy while discussing the future strategies of the party for the upcoming assembly elections in 2013," it added.
