Sunny morning in Delhi, rain expected

New Delhi, April 28 (IANS) It was a warm and sunny Saturday morning in the capital with the minimum temperature settling at 21.3 degrees Celsius, three notches below average for the season. The met department has forecast light rain in the evening.

There is going to be partly cloudy sky, said an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official.

"Thunder may occur in some areas...Today's (Saturday) maximum temperature is expected to hover around 37 degrees Celsius," the official added.

The humidity levels recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 46 percent.

Friday's maximum temperature was four notches below average at 35 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled five notches below average for the season at 19.8 degrees Celsius.
