Hike in Delhi labourers wages

New Delhi, April 24 (IANS) The Delhi government Tuesday hiked the daily wages of unskilled, semi-skilled and skilled labourers, an official statement said here.

 

"The monthly minimum wages of unskilled labour has gone up from Rs.6,656 to Rs.7,020. For semi-skilled labour, the wage hike from Rs.7,358 to Rs 7,748, while it is from Rs.8112 to 8,528 for skilled labour," the statement said.

 

The new slabs will be effective from April 1. The last revision was in October 2011.
