Singhvi quits as Congress spokesperson, parliamentary panel chief

New Delhi, April 23 (IANS) Congress MP Abhishek Manu Singhvi Monday resigned as party spokesperson and chairman of the parliamentary standing committee on law and justice in the wake of the controversy over a CD allegedly featuring him. The resignation comes a day before the start of the second phase of parliament's budget session Tuesday.

 

Singhvi's office told IANS that he had quit the posts.
