Peaches Geldof and finance Thomas Cohen welcome first baby

London, Apr 22 (ANI): Peaches Geldof, the daughter of Live Aid founder Bob Geldof and the late Paula Yates, and her finance Thomas Cohen have had their first child.

The 23-year-old announced the arrival of her son Astala on the social network site, Twitter.

"Yes, its true- I'M A MUMMY!!!!" the Telegraph quoted her as tweeting.

The baby, with lead singer of band 'S.C.U.M', is the British journalist's first.

"My little boy is the most beautiful thing in this world. When he holds @tomfromscum's finger with his hand its the sweetest thing ever. X," she tweeted,

Max Dundas, Geldof's publicist also said that the new parents were "overjoyed" at the arrival of their baby.

"Peaches and Thomas are delighted to announce the birth of their son Astala. Both were overjoyed at his arrival this week," Dundas tweeted.

Cohen also took to Twitter to share his joy.

"I'm a dad he is the most erfect thing ever so proud of his beautiful mum @peaches_g and overcome with joy x," Cohen tweeted. (ANI)
