All five 'Star Trek' captains to unite at London event

Washington, April 17 (ANI): Organizers of a Star Trek event in London are boldly going where no event has gone before by bringing together all five TV captains on stage for the first time.

William Shatner (Captain Kirk), Patrick Stewart (Captain Picard), Avery Brooks (Commander Sisko), Kate Mulgrew (Captain Janeway) and Scott Bakula (Captain Archer) will all attend "Destination Star Trek London" in October, organizers said Monday, CBS News reported.

All five actors have never appeared together at an official event for the series.

Organizers are reportedly expecting 10,000-15,000 people from around the world to attend the convention, which runs from Oct. 19-21 at the Excel Exhibition Center. Tickets go on sale beginning April 30.

According to the convention's website, the weekend will also feature parties, a costume parade, photo and autograph sessions and Q and A panels. And it won't just be the captains in attendance - more guests are set to be announced. (ANI)
