Sunny day in Delhi

New Delhi, April 5 (IANS) It was a warm and sunny day in the capital Thursday with the minimum temperature settling at 22.2 degrees Celsius, four notches above average for the season. The met department has forecast a clear day ahead.

 

"Partly cloudy sky, becoming mainly clear towards afternoon and evening. Today's (Thursday) maximum temperature is expected to hover around 38 degrees Celsius," an India Meteorological Department (IMD) official said.

 

The humidity levels recorded at 8.30 a.m. was 54 percent.

 

The maximum temperature recorded Wednesday was four notches above average at 37.6 degrees Celsius, while the minimum settled three notches above average for the season at 21.9 degrees Celsius.
