Washington, Apr 1(ANI): Young golfer Rory McIlroy has said the American golf lovers have made him feel at home, and he doesn't feels like a European or an international player.
McIlroy has not dismissed suggestions that he might buy a house in Florida, and get settled here.
"The -Americans have made me feel at home. I don't feel like a European or international player when I am on the tees out here," The Daily Star quoted McIlroy, as saying.
The gifted Northern Irishman was four shots clear with nine holes to play last year at the Augusta National when his game completely collapsed.cIlroy's nightmare started on the tenth hole and he ended up carding a round of 80 as he slipped from pole position in the race to win the Green Jacket to a miserable 15th.ut instead of buckling under the pressure created by one of the greatest chokes in sport, Mac, 22, kept his head by winning the US Open at Congressional in June.
That was with a record 16-under total which eclipsed the previous best for the tournament of - 12-under, shared by such greats as Jack Nicklaus and Tiger Woods. (ANI)
