Kangra (Himachal Pradesh), Mar.28 (ANI): Scores of devotees lined up at temples in Kangra, Himachal Pradesh, to pay obeisance to the Hindu Goddess Durga on the occasion of the Navratri Festival.

Devotees sought the blessings of the deity. The authorities made all arrangements for them.

"We come here because our wishes are always fulfilled here. All the facilities are available here," said Sonal, a devotee.

Himachal Pradesh is not only renowned for its picturesque beauty, but it also offers a wide arena of religious places that draw devotees from around the world.

The devotees reposed faith in the goddess and appreciated the aesthetic attributes of the temple, stating that these places of worship were well maintained.

"We have come here to offer prayers and we come here every year during Navratras. This is a really good place to offer prayers. All the religious places in Himachal Pradesh are good and worth seeing," said Poonam Chattha, a devotee.

During the Navratri festival, devotees worship nine forms of the goddess.

It is believed that during the days of Navratras, Goddess Durga descends on earth to rid it of demons and blesses her devotees with happiness and prosperity.
