London, Mar 28 (ANI): Kate Upton, who catapulted to fame after gracing the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition, wore "Sex" shoes to the Jeffrey Fashion Cares event in New York City.
The 19-year-old model, who attended the fundraiser alongside fellow Sports Illustrated model Irina Shayk, sported nude Christian Louboutin stilettos, which cost about 825 dollars, featuring the word "Sex" written in Swarovski crystals.
Her dress was rather demure in contrast. She chose a black number with three-quarter-length sleeves but still paraded her pins, the Daily Mail reported.
Katy Perry was also spotted wearing the same shoes last week on the red carpet in Berlin to the Echo Awards, about the time the identity of ex Russell Brand's new girlfriend was revealed.
The singer is said to have worn the shoes in a blatant attempt to show her ex-husband that she was moving on.
However, as for Upton, who doesn't have any obvious lovers who have so-quickly moved on, her "Sex" shoes were probably just a bit of fun. (ANI)
