London, Mar 24(ANI): Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero has said he is looking forward to partnering Carlos Tevez, and expects his fellow Argentinean to play a vital role in the remaining league games.
Tevez made a league comeback in last Wednesday's win against Chelsea at Etihad Stadium, after ending his row with manager Roberto Mancini, and played an important role in helping City claim three points, and cut short rival Manchester United's lead to just one solitary point at the top.
Aguero stood out in Tevez's absence since joining City in a 38 million pound club record deal last summer, but is now looking forward to linking up more with Tevez.
"Although I'm not Roberto Mancini, I'm not the manager, we all know he's an important player for us, a key player and with the nine games remaining in the season I think he can bring a lot to the side," The Mirror quoted Aguero, as saying.
"If and when selected I think it's an important time for him to come back. He's a key player because he's got five years' experience of playing in the Premier League," he added.
"We have a lot of good players here and he is one other player, but he will be very, very important to us because he's one in a long list of top-quality players at this club. He will bring a lot to the party for what remains of the season," he said. (ANI)
