Vice President Ansari greets people ahead of Holi

New Delhi, Mar 6 (ANI): Vice President Mohammad Hamid Ansari on Tuesday greeted the citizens of the country ahead of Holi, the festival of colours.
In his message Ansari said that the festival marks the onset of spring and is celebrated with joyous gaiety.
"I extend my hearty greetings and good wishes to the citizens of our country on the auspicious occasion of Holi, the festival of colours. This festival marks the onset of spring and is celebrated with joyous gaiety.
May this colourful festival bring peace and happiness and promote national integration," said Ansari.
Holi will be celebrated on March 8, but in some parts of India, the celebration begins a week before the festival. (ANI)
