Michael Douglas reprises Gordon Gekko to help FBI

Washington, Feb 28 (ANI): Michael Douglas is once again playing his famous role of Gordon Gekko, this time for a good cause.
The actor who made 'greed is good' famous appears in a new public service announcement Douglas has shot for FBI, in which he asks Americans to report information about securities and commodities fraud.
"I played a greedy corporate executive who cheated to profit while innocent investors lost their savings... The movie was fiction, but the problem is real," Contactmusic quoted him as saying in the ad.
The FBI has launched a new campaign to clamp down on insider trading and embezzling - and the Douglas ad is part of the project.
FBI spokesman Bill Carter insists the 'Wall Street' actor jumped at the chance to help put scheming traders and businessmen behind bars.
"With a high-profile person like this, we hope this will be an effective way to get the word out," Carter said. (ANI)
